The Ford Expedition is the largest SUV in Ford's lineup and one of the few sport utility vehicles on the market today that still maintains a body-on-frame construction. That means it's rugged and drives like a truck, with the kind of power and performance that only a truck-like SUV can offer.

It's available in multiple configurations and positively packed with features, technology, and options. People all across the Vancouver, WA, area, from Carson and Kalama to Kelso and LA Center, love the power and comfort this vehicle offers. Vancouver Ford gives you this look at the 2021 Ford Expedition.

2021 Ford Expedition Overview

The new Ford Expedition comes in five trim levels: the base XL, the XLT, the Limited, the King Ranch, and the range-topping Platinum. The Max extended configuration is available on all but the XL level and offers additional cargo space. The Expedition has a single powertrain and is driven by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that's turbocharged and gives you 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. At the top trim level, the power increases to 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque.

What's new this year is the optional Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist package, which kicks up your standard driver-assistive package. The standard safety package gives you features like blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alerts, lane-keeping, and front crash mitigation. The available Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist package adds to this adaptive cruise control, which keeps you at a safe distance from other cars in front of you, and advanced GPS navigation.

Towing, Hauling, and Passenger Space

With all seats in place, the Ford Expedition gives you 57.5 cubic feet of space behind the third row. When you fold all the seats down, you expand that to a maximum of 104.6 cubic feet (121.5 cubes in the Max). With the optional heavy-duty towing package, you can equip the Expedition to tow up to 9,300 pounds of trailer or flatbed. Some pickup trucks can't even tow that much.

Feature Highlights

The Expedition doesn't just offer outstanding power and performance - it's also loaded up with luxury and technology features, starting with the Ford SYNC® infotainment system at the XLT trim level. Even at the base XL level too, you get keyless entry, push-button start, the full Ford Co-Pilot360™ safety suite, a power driver seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a Wi-Fi hotspot for connectivity.

At the very top trim level, you get premium leather upholstery, power seats throughout, seats that actually have a massaging feature, and active noise cancellation. In the middle trims, there are additional convenience features available like power running boards, automatic windshield wipers, and a premium sound system with 12 speakers.
