If you're considering the 2021 Ford Ranger, you probably want to know what the interior is like. To help drivers from Vancouver, Carson, Kalama, and La Center, WA, do just that, Vancouver Ford has put together this interior review of the Ford Ranger.
Seating in the Ford Ranger
The Ford Ranger seats between four and five people, depending on the cab option.
At the base trim level, the seating starts out with cloth bucket front-seats with manual adjustments, so you can find your perfect driving position. In the SuperCab option, the rear seats have removable cushions for under seat storage.
For a nicer seating material, the second trim level upgrades your seating material to premium cloth. For the highest-level seating luxury in the Ranger, the available leather-trimmed bucket front-seats come with power adjustments. The rear outboard seats will also be leather-trimmed and you'll still get under seat storage.
If you opt for the Tremor Off-Road Package, you'll get leather-trimmed bucket front seats with Ebony Miko® suede trim inserts for an additional flair of style.
Tons of Tech
The Ranger comes prepared with plenty of technology in the cabin. For a bit of entertainment and helpful tech, the Ranger has an available infotainment system powered by SYNC® 3. This 8-inch touchscreen interface allows you to use your favorite smartphone apps via the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration.
You can also upgrade the system to include an available voice-activated Navigation System with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link®. You can get where you need to go, learn about traffic patterns, and not worry about getting lost along the way.
To help keep you aware of what's going on in your truck, the Ranger has available dual 4.2-inch productivity screens. These screens are a part of your instrument cluster and provide information, from directions to fuel economy settings.
Interior Dimensions
Depending on which cab option you choose, the Ranger's dimensions might change a little bit. Your options are the SuperCab and the SuperCrew®.
No matter which cab you choose, your passengers will have plenty of room, with 39.8 inches of headroom in the front. The same goes for the front hip room, sitting at 55.8 inches. Long-legged drivers can enjoy either cab, too, with 43.1 inches of legroom.
The SuperCab runs a bit smaller than the SuperCrew®, with 35.9 inches of headroom in the second row, compared to the SuperCrew® headroom of 38.3 inches. This is also true for the rear shoulder room, where the SuperCab has 55.2 inches and the SuperCrew® has 56.3 inches.
